Recipes to the Rescue

My prayer is that this blog and the ABCJLM websites are places that you can run to when you need encouragement, need help being a wife and friend, and need suggestions on raising godly kids.  Hopefully you have gotten these things.  (And if you haven't...well I can't change something if I don't know it needs changed!  So stop right now and email me.  I beg for your thoughts!)  Now, I am going to help you make meal time easier!

Let's be real.  We all love a good dish.  But right now I don't care how good the dish is, if it takes much more time to prepare that it does to eat it, I am not interested.  Now, I think cooking healthy, not-from-a-box food is very important.  We eat almost no processed food around here.  But I don't have time to make fancy recipes.  I have looked at some pretty famous blogs and drooled over the pictures but I don't have time to saute this and sift that. You don't either.

I am going to share with you my easiest recipes with picture directions.  These are dishes that you can make in 10-15 minutes, add a vegetable and fruit, maybe a muffin or slice of bread, and you have a meal!!!  These are dessert recipes that you can have ready for a church potluck in mere moments.  Are you excited?  I hope so.  I promise not to add the crazy, time-consuming, holy-cow, what-in-the-world recipes.

But I need your help!!!!

I know you have a go-to recipe that you use in the heat of the moment.  Don't be stingy.  You teach your kiddos to share so you need to lead by example.  Go right now and get your recipe (although if it is super easy you probably have it memorized).  Email me.  Don't worry.  I will take the pictures and do all of the hard stuff.  You just send the recipes.

Oh..now I am getting excited!  Together we will save the world one dinner table at a time!  Okay...I better close.  Fill my email!
